How long does it take for Sharon (at fidelity) usually take to call you back about the offer you made? I made an offer yesterday (around lunchtime). Just wondering...super excited!!!
I think it all depends on how available the sellers are. Sharon got back to me the next morning when I had made an offer the afternoon before. She offered me their counter, I wanted to counter back and she called with the sellers' acceptance minutes later. You're in very good hands with Sharon.
I am working with Fidelity also. I think it just depends how soon they can reach the seller. I went back and forth a few times today and it was pretty quick because the seller & I were both readily available. Unfortunately, we couldn't agree to a price, so I am moving on...
I am working with Rachel at Fidelity. I emailed my offer in and got an email within a hour that she had left a message and sent an email to the seller with my offer. The very next morning I had an email from her saying the seller had accepted my offer.
The first offer I made through Rachel at Fidelity took a few days to get an answer. The second I had the sellect accept it the day after. So it's really a matter of how long it takes for the seller to answer, it can differ a lot
Just keep trying. We closed on a couple of resale contracts (not through Fidelity) and it all depends on how long it takes the broker to hear back from the seller. I'd say if you don't hear back in couple of days, make an offer on another contract. You don't want to miss out on a great resale contract because you're waiting on inconsiderate sellers to get back to your broker.
OP, if you are working with Sharon she will take care of you. She will give you an answer once she hears back from the seller. If you want to get in touch with her, I have found email to be the most efficient mode of communication.
