How long to get the Visa gift card from buying AKV? Got it today, update post 29

We did an add on @ AKV in early sept. & today received our gift cards via fedex.

Member Acctg told us by mid-November to expect Visa $500...
That probably falls within the 45 day period!

I will check back in mid November if I haven't got it...

Closed beginning October...Still haven't gotten deed????? Is that unusual??

I'm eager to get the $500, but putting it away to be used toward AKV Kidani dues due June 1st...Since they are pro-rated 8 months, the $500 will be most of it!

The charge on our credit card for our down payment (new owners) occurred on Sept. 10. We just received our gift card today - via Fed Ex, and you need to be there to sign for it.

Now if only that PIN would arrive!!!

Yes, any idea how long it takes to get the pin...and do they send it by regular mail? Also, can anyone tell me how long it should take to get your blue permanent membership cards?

Yay...Looks like hopefully my Disney Visa hopefully has arrived..

Only problem is, signature required from FEDEX....Gee. hope I don't have to wait around all day??

I wonder if deed is sent FEDEX too??How is deed sent?

We haven't received ours from our add on back in August!! I looked up the information for the add on on the FL comptrollers office website and it was recorded on 9-22. DH called member services to find out what was going on and they said we should have received it 3 wks ago. Then we were transferred to our guide, who of course was not in his office. Now I am wondering if he entered the "code" so we would get it. I am kinda irked about this...........

Interesting...I just checked ours and we closed on 09/24/2008 (pulled up a copy of the deed online).

Had my DH call our guide back, he was in his office, hadn't returned our call. He said he had to call Atlanta to find out what was going on....now waiting on a call back.

I got a call back from my guide today and he indicated that the card would be sent 4-6 weeks from my closing which was 9/19.....and when I got home today there was the notice from Fedex that they tried to deliver my card!!!
So it was just a day or so over the 6 weeks
