just booking a car to collect us from the airport when we arrive on the 31st oct do you think 1hr and 20 mins will be long enough for us to get to the driver??
We booked a Tiffany Town Car last year and just told them the time our flight arrived when we went through to pick up our bag's the driver was there waiting for us.
As a taxi driver here in the UK whenever I'm picking up at the airport all I need is flight number and scheduled arrival time. Experience tells me how long it takes from plane landing to the customer appearing - it varies from airport to airport and at different times of the day. the limo driver in Orlando will know all these factors and be waiting for you with a BIG smile!
Just a word of warning - take the phone number of Happy Limo with you. When we had them in May they were not there to meet us at the airport and we had to ring them up.
We only had to wait for 15 minutes or so.
Apart from this, Happy Limo were great.
In June, we were checked into VWL within one hour of getting of the plane. The biggest hold up was at immigration due to people not having their forms filled in correctly.
We managed to get out of the airport and onto the road within an hour too.
We were pretty close to the front of the immigration queues and all our cases came off the carousels very quickly and all together (unlike at Manchester on our return!).
Make sure your visa forms are completed correctly - I was amazed at the number of people who were stood in the queue filling their's in!
I know some airlines give you the forms to complete on the plane - Virgin give them to you when you check in. Fill them in before your flight, you can get the Virgin help desk to check the forms for you and also get a replacement one if you need.
I've been doing them now for 7 years and I still c**k-up at least one form each and every time. Last time we had confusion over the Customs forms because one was different from the other two. (It's a long story)
... but whatever you do don't wait until you reach Orlando - that's stupid!!!
