I called my guide in January to extend my contract. Again a week ago as I did not get a contract yet. He said they were behind but that I am in the system.

How long has it taken everyone else?

Thanks Tigger

We did ours over the phone. We put it on our Disney Rewards card.
Less then 2 minutes! Done!!
Now we will have a nice free dinner next time we're "HOME" :yay:

I'm pretty sure there is going to be some legal paperwork for you to sign.

I don't think they've prepared any of it yet, for acceptance or denial. I think they were waiting for the final deadline today before they'll even start working on preparing the contracts, unless you happen to be at WDW and do it in person.

We will use our reward points on our Disney Visa!

The extra years have already been added to our contracts.
Our Guide told us we need to do nothing extra.
When I called to make ressies for the F&WF the CM noted that the extra years are there.
Easiest, & fastest money ever spent!! :rotfl:

We also received our contract to sign a few weeks after we made our call. It has been signed and mailed back now about two weeks.

Sorry, but you better check again with your guide. We extended using the Disney Visa as well. And there is still paperwork that has to be signed and notarized for the deed extension. We called back in December and had the paperwork within 2 weeks. It was signed and notarized and returned the first part of January.

Thanks for the info Eva!
I will call and check with my guide Monday!

See that's what is so good about this board. We can get such good and important info here!

Thanks again! :flower3:

We spoke to our guide tonight.
She told us that because we paid in full we didn't need to sign anything. Only those who had to finance the extension need to fill out any papers.
Hope that clears things up.

That is weird. We paid in full with credit card but still had to have a document signed and notarized for the deed extension. Oh well, I'm not going to worry about it. I know we are covered either way.

ME thinks somebody don't know What their doing!! :confused3 Also it makes ME worried!!! Did you get a new contract??
How bout the lighthouse thingy??
Can I ask you who your guide was? Is that improper to say on this board?
Thanks!
It's all for the granddaughters!!

I just talked to DH about this and he said that we did take the 12 months at 0% to pay it off and the signed papers were for the loans on both our contracts. We just paid 20% down on the Disney Visa. I am so sorry to get everyone confused. :guilty: But he did pull out the paperwork and there is a deed extension in with the paperwork for each of our contracts. I would think that you should receive that at least.

"]Thank You so much for answering! I've been searching for my Oct. bill to keep for proof of purchase!!! I feel so much better now.
In the year 2042 my ashes would have been in a whirl if the kids couldn't go see MICKEY!!:scared1:
Yes it would be nice to get something of a deed for the extension, but she said we don't need one. Think I'll keep looking for that bill!
I see your from Illinois too. We're in New Lenox.
Thanks again!

Again, my apologies. We had talked about paying it in full with the Visa. But I guess that DH decided to take them up on the 12 month with 0%. I guess I better pay more attention to the details. As long as they have your money, I'm sure all is fine. I believe you are around the Joliet area. I am from a small town right outside Peoria. Have a great one!
