We just went through the process of adding our adult children to our two contracts with DVC. Went through First American Title and received word today that our title transfer was completed and the deed had been recorded. Does anyone know how long before we should receive the new membership cards with our kids listed as members?

Thanks,

We did the same. Took us probably 5 or 6 months to get the card. But that was during this past winter/spring when I believe they were having problems with issuing blue cards. I think it might be quicker now.

Keep in mind that you need to create MDE accounts for the children on the deed, and then they need to validate themselves as DVC members, and only then can they order membership cards. DVC doesn't automatically send the cards out any longer.

Sorry - but maybe a silly question. How do they validate themselves? They each already have a my Disney experience account

Once they are listed on the deed, they'll go to dvcmember.com and put in the access code provided to them by Member Administration (they'll likely have to call to get it).
