HOw long to get from SD zoo to DL?

WE will be going the zoo on a Friday in June. We plan on leaving at 5-6pm and heading to DL. WE will be staying at the HOJO. DOes anyone know approx. how long this drive might take? THanks!

You will be facing out bound traffic in San Diego but it should be about 2 hours depending on traffic, idiots, the border check thing up by San Onofree and more idiots. Part of the way is car pool lanes and most of the way is wide open freeways unlike the narrow ones up in my area. Check street view for Google maps to see the lanes you need to be in for the trip. It is pretty easy driving once you are out of San Diego.

At midnight or noon you could do it in about 90 minutes or less if you have a heavy foot.

its about a 2 hour drive from Anaheim to San diego depending on traffic.

That's the height of rush hour in San Diego, so it'll take you at least two hours, and maybe closer to two and a half. If you can leave closer to 6:00 rather than 5:00 it might be a little better - if you can eat dinner in San Diego and wait until 7:00 then you should be ok.

If they take PCH, it becomes at 3+ hour drive, albeit gorgeous, but MUCH longer.
