How long to do ALL the rides in Fantasyland?

I'm starting a very rough itinerary for our trip, and have no idea how long it will take us to do Fantasyland. We'll be doing every ride, and this will be either during MM or (if it's a non-MM day), right at park opening. It will be during the week in Sept, so hopefully not too busy. . I know there's no way to say for sure, but just wondering if it'll take us one hour, two, or more.

On MM, done in the right order, you can do the whole shebang your first hour, no problem.

I believe the recommended order is (somebody correct me if I'm wrong)

Peter Pan
Dumbo
Teacups
Alice
Matterhorn
Toad
Snow White
Pinocchio

Storybook Land Canal boats aren't open for MM, and I'm thinking the same is true for the Casey Jr. Train.

Keep in mind that Buzz Lightyear and Space Mountain are open, too. Buzz is a lot of fun for little ones, usually, especially if they're familiar with Toy Story. You can probably get Buzz in there, too, if not both (using the child swap so the adults can go on Space if you want!)

I'd move the Teacups after the Matterhorn (or Toady), but agree with everything else stated above.

Storybookland & Casey Jr. would make it difficult to do all in an hour, but as Avalon said, they're not available during MM. I agree that Buzz is a great ride to do during the end off MM with little ones.

Also consider the Matterhorn 2fer (one side then the other) if there's not much of a line & your kids enjoy it as much as my kid does. Most important is being one of the first on PP then quickly over to Dumbo. (Then Matterhorn/Alice....& remember there are bathrooms next to Alice.)

Now we were the first ones on Peter Pan that day so we moved through everything quickly. Clearly the closer you are to the front of the gates at opening, the faster you will move through the rides. We LOVE FL on a non-MM day because it is very empty. Everyone runs to Nemo or Adventureland. Lines do build quickly, so be sure to be there early!

Hitting FL first thing seems to be a golden rule here! And I do agree with the time and the order of the rides as posted. However, I think that Sept is slow enough that it won't be such a big deal when you do them (except maybe Peter Pan and Dumbo).

On our December trip, I'm planning to hit FL Wednesday afternoon (12/3), which is the day we arrive. I'm also hoping to catch the parade that day. I think FL is a great way to start a trip and I'm willing to spend extra time in that area rather than run through it in an hour.

If any experts disagree, please let me know so I can rearrange as needed!!!

On our December trip, I'm planning to hit FL Wednesday afternoon (12/3), which is the day we arrive. I'm also hoping to catch the parade that day. I think FL is a great way to start a trip and I'm willing to spend extra time in that area rather than run through it in an hour.

I have been to DLR on many non-busy times of the year and FL is always busy. It is the area for parents with young children who are often not bound by the school year calendar. So almost any day of the year, you will find FL busy. It might be even busier during the holiday period.

If you try to do FL in the afternoon, you could wait:

45-60 min at Peter Pan
45 min at Dumbo
45-60 min at Storybook Canal
30-45 at Casey Jr.
30-45 min at Alice

So it could take you 4.5 hours to get through FL when you could do it in about an hour at Park opening. That's a lot of waiting time for me and way too much for my kids.

Peter Pan will always be our first ride on every trip no matter what time we get there. Not just because
#1- it rocks!
#2- it's the best for your schedule
#3- On DD's very first trip to Dl she was 3. We had an early flight on our last day and had only planned to do breakfast with Lilo and Stitch. That morning, DD woke up early and asked if she could go back to Neverland that morning. It broke our hearts to tell her no! We told her we would take her back to NL soon. So now we make sure it's the first thing we do on every trip!
