How long to add on points at sold out resort?

My guide has told me that there is a wait list, by UY and where I stand on it.
We'll see!!

Well, if your guide explicitly said that, I'm sure he or she wasn't lying.

I havent even called to get on the wait list yet but the April UY would be the one that I would be on too. I am hoping to add on a 50 at BCV eventually. Whats up with April?

I called about a 50 point add-on for a June UY at the VWL in early July. Within 2 days my credit card had been charged for the deposit and I got the information/ pappers in a week.

Called my guide last week, points were available for Oct UY @ VWL & BWV. We did a small add-on @ BWV.

We've usually stayed @ the AS Resorts. Now that my kids are older, we can get away with more subdued accommodations, although we'll still frequent one of the Values for the weekends.

Another sight unseen purchase, hope there really are buildings there when we show up to use them. Says something about Disney/DVC's reputation. Who else would you buy a timeshare from before actually verifying there is one?

I called last Friday for 35 point add-on at OKW Oct. UY. All were available and I bought them. (I know resale may have been cheaper but I couldn't risk waiting for ROFR etc. before DH changed his mind! ) Since I haven't actually read all 26 pages I don't know if this has been mentioned - I was able to bank the 35 points from 2004 to 2005 even though the banking deadline has passed. I was told because this was an add-on, no problem. I feel like I got 35 free points.
