How long should we stay?

We are planning a trip in the off season to Walt Disney World. We will be traveling with our children age 6, 3 1/2, and 2. This will be our first trip. We live near Disneyland and they have been there many times. So the Disney experience is not new to them.
My question is, how long should we stay? 7 days would be our max. I was thinking 3 or 4 days. But is that enough time? Would 7 days be too much time? Any suggestions? Thank you

We went for our first time last year with a 6yo and 3yo. We had 3 days in the parks with a day of travel on each end. We did MK, Epcot, and MK again. It was a pretty nice short trip. Next time we want to do 5 days in the parks. I really don't think I would want to do more.

Hi, we're going for 7 days, 6 nights. I figure we'll spend 5 days in the parks. Probably won't go the day we arrive or leave. I know we'll miss a lot, but we're not expecting to see everything there is to see. I'm not into rushing around and moving quickly on vacation :) I think 3 days wouldn't be enough, but I guess it depends on what you're interested in seeing. When DH & I went on our honeymoon we actually only went to the parks 3 days. It was soooo hot we couldn't stand it! So we stayed at the resort a lot.

I personally would stay as long as possible. This way you don't feel rushed trying to get everything dine, Also- what's better than more time at WDW? princess:

I think you need at least 5-7 nights at WDW. You still won't be able to see it all, but you will see alot during off peak. We usually go for a week and we have been three times and still haven't done everything we wanted to do. A week is good if your going to all the parks or plan to spend time at your resort.

We usually stay 7 nights, 8 days. I have a 4.5yr.old and a 8mo.old.

We stayed for 7 nights in October, we were EXHAUSTED....I told my family next time we go we will go for 8 or 9 nights (I don't know how long it will be until we can afford to go again!!), but plan a rest day or two mixed in with the park days, so we'd still probably only get a 7 day pass for the parks. We were so concerned with doing everything we wanted to get done, we went to Epcot our first day, even though we only had about 2 1/2 hrs til our dinner ressie.....we should have stayed at the hotel and swam/rested. We just got more tired everyt day as we tried to do too much! I figure rest the first day, 2 park days, a day of rest.....2-3more park days.... a day of rest the 2 more park days....
Now that I've got it all planned in my head I need to save some money and get there!

Have a great time! :goodvibes
