How long should I wait to book flights

I have my flight to Orlando booked....great DING rate.

However my return flight has never had a sale so I have yet to book it. I am leaving late Sept and returning in Oct....when should I book??? I don't want to wait too long since I have to have a non-stop flight...fear of flying....

What do the vets think?????

What will you do if the flight you want never goes on sale? Cancel your trip, return a day earlier or suck it up and pay full fare? If you'll pay full fare you can wait, if your option is do go a day earlier and there is a good fare on that day I'd book it now. SW will let you transfer your funds to your new reservation if are able to to book it.

SW will let you transfer your funds to your new reservation if are able to to book it.

They will also hold the difference on account for up to one year. I keep on checking Dings! to get a better price even though I already have my reservations.
