If I get there first thing and run straight there? Im also thinking to maybe use the back gate by Beach Club?! Help lol!!

One dad waited from park opening until they started at 11. He said three hours, so I'm guessing Epcot had an 8am EMH that day.

A friend of mine waited 90 minutes yesterday in the evening or late afternoon.

Ugh ok Im forgot the dont open till 11. Guess Ill try for an evening spot!

if your trip is in late May I would ask around the middle of May to find out the state of play.

It will be busier in May than it is now BUT by then Disney may have moved the girls to a better or additional location. A lot can change in 3 months and I believe given the long waits, Disney is working on a better situation for this meet and greet.

I was wondering much the same thing, but for March. I'm not in love with going from rope drop to wait in line for 2 hours. With the current situation is that our only option if I want to get that meet and greet done by 12?

On the same topic, has anyone seen any good apps that measure the wait time for characters in WDW? I'd love to keep my eye on this one to see the trend in the weeks leading up to a visit?

I don't think any of the apps track M&G's in real time like other attractions.

We were just there last week and the wait was 3+ hours. The line wrapped around parts of Norway all the way around by the Perry Adventure.

I waited about 90 minutes to meet Princess Anna and Queen Elsa on my trip in January 2014. I lined in up in Norway at about 10:30AM after I asked a father with his children (including his daughter in a Princess Anna gown) about meeting them and he advised me to get there ASAP. So I hotfooted from Mission Space to Norway as I completed the headliners in Future World. The cast members were friendly and did their best to keep the line organized. In addition, if you are with a larger group, you could have one family member stake out a spot. However, I must say that this was worth the wait as Princess Anna and Queen Elsa were absolutely amazing! Good luck and have a great trip!

We were there on Jan 31st and I did go straight there at rope drop. We were about 6th in line. My DD and I waited there while my DH and DS rode Test Track first thing. (DD is not tall enough yet.) Then DH swapped with me and stood in line while I took kids to ride Nemo, do Turtle Talk and a quick walk around Seas building. We got back to Norway about 10:45 - met the sisters and were on our way by 11:20. (including a bit of time in the Norway gift shop.) Worked well for us - it was a must-do for my DD. And it assured me we weren't going to have to get in a longer line later. I haven't heard of any lines being less than 90 minutes...

We were there yesterday and the wait was a good 2+ hours around noon. We just walked by. I don't think anyone in our party would have waited that long to see them. Maybe next trip!

I went this morning, was in line at 9:30 and we met them at 12:45. Luckily the first two hours were cloudy and cool because the main part of the line has no shade.

The wait was 5-6 hours last week!! Yikes!! I turned right back around. My daughter is only 2 so she didn't care and she enjoyed meeting all the other princesses.

Where exactly do I go to get in line at rope drop? I have heard 2 different things. We are going tomorrow. We plan on having an adult do stuff with the kids and trading off for the wait. This is the 1 thing both of my kids want to do?

Is there a line that starts at 9 am and where is it? Or, do you wait until World Showcase opens at 11 and run for the line? And again where is the line?

Thanks!!!

We did this Monday. I was first in line while the spouse and kids ate at Akershus. The cast member said that they stop letting people line up around 2 pm. There were people queued for the early afternoon meet by 9:30. It is a very sunny and warm spot, so water and someone to swap a must. They hustle you through. But, the actresses were great.

The WS is open to Norway so people can get to the character breakfast there. That's where the line starts.
