Hi All,

I am trying to get a rough idea for scheduling my park days. I have ppo character dining adrs ranging between 8 and 8:30 am, how much time should I allocate for these, including wait time to be seated? Also, I have heard that you can wait up to an hour on qs lines. Is qs really faster than ts or are they about the same?

Thank you for all your help!

If the characters are important I would budget at least 90 minutes for character dining. For most sit down meals I set aside 90 to 120 minutes so I don't feel rushed and to account for any delay in seating. So say I have a 1pm ADR I won't schedule a FP or show for until 3. If I get out earlier great but that gives me enough time to get seated, browse the menu, eat at a nice pace, and then walk to my next thing.

I've never waited more than 15 minutes on a Quick Service line. Not sure where someone said they waited an hour unless it was like stage 4 closure on Christmas day.

Our character meals ranged from 60-90 minutes. Regular TS was around an hour. We never waited more than 10 minutes in a QS line, but we ate lunch on the earlier side (usually around 11) as my young daughters get hungry early.

It also depends on where your table is and how busy the restaurant is. CM will tell you it takes up to 90 minutes to see all the characters. But we spent only 1 hour at all of our character meals (8am at H&V, 4:30pm at Tusker House, and 6pm at Crystal Palace). My kids aren't the type that would talk and play with the characters. They just said greet, pose and got autograph. As for QS, we usually spend about 45 minutes or less. We took our time to eat.
