How Long is Your Commute?

I'm curious. How long, on average, does it take you to get to work?

If you'd like to respond with your time and how many miles, they would be great.

When I take my kids to school, it's about 30 minutes. If I don't have to take them to school, it's about 20 minutes (I take a completely different route on those days). I'm not sure of the mileage either way. I think about 15 miles.

30-45 minutes going and coming. So a total of 1-1 1/2 hour total.

Just back and forth to school. I did not include parking.

Oh, I didn't say my miles--7 miles in 13 minutes.

I am not sure how many miles it is, but it takes me about 12-16 minutes depending on traffic.

The Building and Loan I work with is only about a 10 minute walk or so, but in snow I drive it.

16 miles, 30 minutes when it's not rush hour, up to two hours during rush hour. i'd say we average probably a little over an hour.

If I drive 30 down a 25 road I can make it from my computer chair to the time clock in 6 minutes... Usually I take oh 10-12 to get there

I only work 17 miles from home, but with traffic, it takes about 1 hour each way!

P.S. I don't understand the "I'm an at home mom" category, as there is no commute to/from work?

I did work 20miles, 50mins away for 12.5 yrs before DS was born 11 yrs ago

About 55 miles one way. Just over 90 minutes. From central NJ to NYC.

Mine is about 4 minutes from my house. I turn left on my corner at 14th Street and go strait to 4th Street and make a right and my office is one block down. I guess it's between 1 and 2 miles.

I'm a SAHM 4 days a week, but I work one day a week for our accountant who lives on Cape Cod. It takes me about an hour (50 miles) to get there. Once a week I don't mind it, but I wouldn't drive that far any more often than that.

About 10 miles and 25 minutes. I takes me awhile to thread my way out of the woods to the main road. Then, clear sailing from there.

I live about 15-20 miles away from my store; because I live in tourist central (Sea World/Universal/Disney area), it takes me a good half hour to 45 minutes each way, depending on traffic.

Forgot to add, it takes me less than 20 minutes in light traffic, probably about 12 miles, most of it 4-lane highway.
