How long is your commute?

Some days 10 minutes; other days 2 hours; and everything in between. I visit a different one of my company's locations every day.

Mine is 30 minutes, 9 miles.

If I took the 101, it would be 7 miles and an hour.

I work about 7 minutes from home. I could never be a commuter- I have taken a rush hour train a few times for different reasons and there is no way I could take a train like that and not kill someone!

I worked in Manhattan for about 7 years and commuted by train from about 40 miles away. I used to have to go to the gym on the way home to sweat out all my stress before going home to DH. We wouldn't still be together if I hadn't .

Now I work about 10 minutes from home - door to door except on Wednesdays when I work from home.

My DH had a commute like that for awhile. I made him a CD as a gift. It took him a month to get through it

I've never timed it...but 30 seconds is my guess. 2 minutes if I swing by the kitchen to get a cup of coffee first.

Me, too. 3 to 5 minutes depending on traffic.

My DH current commute is an hour and a half...each way.

Which is why we're attempting to sell this place and move closer.

I leave my house two minutes before I start work. I can see my office from my house, it's literally across the street.

After 90 minute commutes each way just a few years ago, I now consider myself very blessed. I can come home for lunch, run back if I forgot something, get my car if I need to run errands, change clothes if I spill... it's really nice. I wouldn't like working at home, but I really enjoy being able to when I need peace and quiet.

When I go to the shop, it's at least 10 minutes across town since I always catch every one of the 6 traffic lights.

Drive to commuter parking lot

20 minute walk from Penn station

My commute is about 12 miles. AM in the summer it's awesomely quick, 20 mins on the backroads tops. The ride home on Fridays in the summer can take longer with "summer traffic." Then when school starts, mornings can take 30 mins...my route to work is on the major road to the town's high school...lots of traffic during my commute time!
