How long is your commute to work?

20 miles
25 minutes to 2.5 hours (depends on traffic and weather)

For instance, this morning it took me 25 minutes to drive the first two miles on the interstate. Why? Beats me. The route that I take includes a section where two interstate highways merge and then split. Unfortunately, the genius who designed this particular stretch of interstate figured that if you merge two 4-lane highways, you only need a single 6-lane highway to handle all the traffic. So every morning you have 4 lanes trying to merge into 3. And did I mention the entrance ramp that's just a half mile up the road. One of those 2-lane ramps that, at the last instant, narrows down to one lane.

Sheesh. :moped:

3 or 4 miles (never was good at calculating that)
7 minutes

Before we moved in November it was 35 miles and about 45 minutes AM and 90 minutes PM. Then we moved closer and it's now 12.5 miles and anywhere between 22-35 minutes AM and 30-45 minutes PM.

Tomorrow is my last day and we move to Florida next week. The new job is 8 miles and about 15 minutes boths ways... DH new job is two buildings down so we can drive together! :)

No idea about miles, but it takes me +/- 20 minutes if I take the underground or +/- 20 minutes when I walk!

Time: Ranges from 1.5 hours to 3 hours each way.
Distance: 65 miles.

I commute from my home in NH to Boston.

I only work 3 days a week though. :sunny:

We just moved - I love my new commute: 5 miles, 10 minutes

My last job was 27 miles: 30 minutes to 1 hour in the am, 1 to 2 hours in the pm depending on weather and traffic. I am so glad I don't have to deal with that anymore. My mom does that same commute now, and she calls my drive a "mini-commute".

My dad commuted from Philadelphia to Rhode Island every week - driving to RI Thursday night, back to Philly at 4 am Monday morning. Now he only has to do from New York City to RI every week - it's slightly better!

I'd have to check on the miles, but I think it's around 20.

Time? Varies day to day. Anthing from 25 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes. Yesterday was an hour. Today was 25 minutes. I left the house the exact same time and when the exact same route both days.

I hate Chicago traffic!

1.5 miles takes me 10 minutes I ride my bike!

About a 10-15 minute drive, depending on how I hit the lights.

Miles??? I'm not good at that...maybe 3-5.

Time: 47 minute flight to Atlanta, usually an hour layover then a 37 minute flight from Atlanta to Nashville. I benefit from the 1 hour time change from EST to CST too.

Distance: 500 miles

I work from home 3 weeks a month and the office 1 week a month and travel for other work related events as needed.

50 miles (each way)
60-90 minutes depending on traffic.

I need a new job with a better commute! :moped: If only I could talk them into letting me work from home. :surfweb:
