How long is the walk from Island Tower to GF Main Building?

I'm curious how convenient the GF dining options are to Island Tower. Currently I'm thinking it is close enough to be a regular alternative to GCH for dining but I have not personally walked it. How does the route to GF - Main compare to the route to GCH from the Tower?

The walk to the main GF building is about 4/10ths of a mile. You can take one of two routes. Either along the water the whole way or through the VGF to the main building.

The walk from the GCH to the Poly tower is about 3/10ths of a mile.

I've measured these several times while walking all the way from the parking lots to the MK along that route.
