How long is the walk from Epcot to MGM

For adults in fairly good shape, how long is the walk from Epcot to MGM. Where are the exits that we should take?
And vice versa as well, if you please!

It's not very far, only across the boardwalk. To get to MGM from EPCOT, take the exit near U.K. and walk toward the boardwalk. Then you go by a path near the Swan and Dolphin and it leads straight to the main enterance of MGM.

Anywhere from 20-30 minutes depending (obviously) on how fast you walk.

You can also take one of the Friendship boats from Epcot to MGM ~ takes 30 minutes with stops at the hotels in the gateway (BW, YC/BC, Swan/Dolphin). Yes, you can most probably walk faster, but it is a nice relaxing ride, especially if it's really hot/humid out & you can use a break from walking.

I notice you say "fairly good shape", it's actually a pretty long walk when you have tired feet. I would recommend the boat, honestly.

I agree the boat makes for a very nice ride. Nothing beats sitting down for a few minutes after a day of walking around !!

Thanks y'all. The boat sounds great. I have been walking briskly for 45 minutes each morning to get into shape for December. A nice side benefit was that a lost 5 pounds in a week!. Of course there is nothing quite a wonderful as simply messing about in boats.

I did this walk solo. Because I walk regularly, I walked at a pretty good pace. It took me exactly 22 minutes to the security entrance of IG.

This is so weird. I wanted to go from MGM to Epcot. I remembered reading somewhere about the boats, but couldn't find the reference. I thought I'd come here & post the question--but I don't have to because someone already did, and there's my answer. The DIS is truly an amazing place!

A brisk walking pace will beat the boats- I did it last week at 12:30a when I left EMH at MGM.
