How Long is the DVC tour?

I am seriously thinking of buying into DVC and I will be in WDW next week. How long is the tour and can you see both AKV & SSR ??

Also how hard is it to get reservstions outside of you home resort?

If I buy in I would like to try all the DVC resorts over time. We usually go to WDW between Sept - Oct and March - May before memorial day but avoiding Easter weeks.

The tour generally takes about 90 minutes, but if you have any time concerns they are happy to tailor to your needs.

You can set up a tour from any of the park or resort DVC kiosks are even right from your WDW resort room. DVC will provide trasportation to the tour and even child care if needed.

Reservations are can be found at other resorts but are always based on availability - so some dates may be more of a challenge than others depending on what type of room you are seeking.

I did the tour in May of this year, it took about 1 1/2 to 2 hours, I ended up buying a resale but got alot of questions answered.

Just be prepared it may take longer! We had a very chatty guide and we were there well over 3 hours!!! And that doesn't include time for signing up - because we didn't!

Tell the guide up-front how much time you have - they will tailor the presentation to fit your schedule. To do it justice, I'd suggest 90 minutes minimum so you can really take a look at what you are buying.
