How long is the drive from Orlando to Tampa??? ...

My husband want to take a day from our Disney Vacation to visit some of his family I would rather not, but since he's paying for the vacation I will go along with it

My husband want to take a day from our Disney Vacation to visit some of his family I would rather not, but since he's paying for the vacation I will go along with it

70 or so miles.

60-90 minutes. My sister lives in Clearwater and we often stop over to visit her. Actually next week we are flying into TPA because it was cheaper.

It's an easy drive straight across I-4. If you have to take the causeway (on the other side of Tampa out toward the beaches) you want to avoid it during rush hour.

My ds lives in Tampa, just a hop, skip and a jump from the Oldsmar line. We routinely stay at a Doubletree right off the W. Courtney Campbell Causeway. It's about a 10 min drive to Tampa Intl....takes us 70 mins to get there from WDW. But, we tend to travel at non-peak times. If it's during commuter times, it can be nasty. Get an early start.
