Curious how long it will take to travel from MCO to Royal Plantation once I pick up the rental car.

Thank you!

Do you mean Royal Pacific? I've never heard of Royal Plantation, and Google maps couldn't find it either. I use Google maps for all my directions and estimated times (check it out - maps.google.com), looks like 20-25 minutes depending on traffic. There is at least one toll on 528.

If she means Royal Pacific, there's one toll on 528 in the amount of $2.25. :)

I think it took about half an hour going there the up I-4 and to RPR on our last trip. Could have been more. Didn't matter.

Agreed. I don't think a lot of people realize how useful the traffic/directions are in google. You just put in your origin and destination and it will give you an estimated time. I use it all the time.

Here is the link for traffic/directions from MCO to RPR.

What about travel time from airport to resort via taxi?

Shouldn't be much difference between driving yourself and taking a taxi, unless you are considering the time it takes to get the car. I use Alamo skip the counter, so we just walk across the street, pick our car, and go, after a brief stop at the exit booth to show our license and reservation form.

Thanks. We did not drive to the resort our first night when we arrived, so I was not sure what it would be to go straight there. I think we paid something less at the exit we took. Coming back from Seaworld to MCO I couldn't remember what we paid (and it was only 1 week ago!) The memory is going.
