How long is the average bus ride from Kidani Village to Downtown Disney?

I thought I read somewhere that the Animal Kingdom buses do not share with any other resorts, but I am trying to decide between driving ourselves or taking Disney transportation the nights we dine at Downtown Disney! Thanks!!

Twenty minutes or so. If you're going to drink at all, or don't want to worry about finding a parking space or remembering where you parked or avoiding other drivers not paying attention to pedestrians while you walk from or to your car - take the bus. If you don't care about any of that, drive.
