How long have you been DISing?

Found the site whilst researching for our 2001 trip. Lurked for about a year or so before finally becoming a diser in January 2003.

I registered on 02-21-2000 (just a couple of weeks after you, NT). My wife Mandy recommended the DIS to me. She found it while we were planning our December 2000 trip. She stopped coming here long ago, but I never left. In 2 days I will have been here for 4 years.

I found this site 5 months ago when I was planning our Disney trip. Even though I don't have too many posts, I am so glad to be here. It helps relax me after a stressful day of taking care of my FIL who lives with us. I don't know how many of you out there take care of your parents, but it's great to have a place to "go" for a get away! (Especially after I find sticky silverware put back in the drawer or used Q-Tips put back in the box....yikes......) Not to mention the fact that he raked all the leaves in our front yard last fall into the middle of our neighbors driveway! Thanks to all for my mental health break!

Sometime in the spring of 98. I remember when there was one board (and the Battle Board, any of you old-timers remember that?), and chats on Tuesday nights- my DH was working and I would go to parents to 'visit' and spend the whole time chatting.

I started back in 1999 when planning our stay at the GF, it was the last time I paid rack rates! Thank goodness for these boards.
They were quite different back then, this website has grown so much over the years.
The one bad thing though, once I found these boards, I found that my obssesion for WDW increased. I was happy going every few years...now I try to go at least once a year.
