So the DIS was created in 1997 or 1999?

June, 1997.

The board software changed in August of 1999 and everyone at that time had to reregister. You'll see quite a few members with August, 1999 start date. I originally registered in March of 1999 and then again with that August date. I became a moderator person in February of 2000. The software changed again in April of 2000 and some of the moderators had to again reregister then. So I have an April, 2000 start date shown. If any member has a start date showing earlier than August of 1999, it was added manually after the fact.

I was, too! I saw Doobie and Rebekah at Disneyland earlier this summer. They had moved to Florida, and now live up north, I believe.

1997--there was a huge system crash or reset (can't recall which since there have been both over the years--server migrations, etc.) and it reset everyone who was registered to 1999.

It’ll be 21 years in January. I was always more of a lurker, but, used to spend alot of time here. There were so many posters that I loved to follow. This will always be my favorite website. to all the Disers that are still on here.
