How long have you been a DVC Owner?

I thought it would be interesting to see how many long time members are still participating on the DVC board. Are the majoriy of us new or do we still have some long term members. Lets see who is the 1st to join.

I joined in '94, and I started visiting this site in the summer of '97, but I know there are some people here who were members in the beginning of DVC, like in '91.

January 1995 is when we bought our original contract. Like many here have said in the past...we wish we had purchased sooner.

Purchased OKW as a resale in February of 2004. Since then we added on once from SSR.

Not sure when to officially consider myself an owner, maybe not yet even?

I called and placed credit card deposit in October, 2003. ($79/pt.)

I got my Blue membership card in January, 2004

I have not yet made any monthly payments.

SSR does not open for another month.

And my use year is as of June 1st.

So, some might say as of 10/03, others could be right if they said 6/04. I don't think I'll really feel like an owner until my first trip home this summer.

May, 2000, plus several add-ons since then. It's been a great 4 years! I would have LOVED being an owner during the years when free park passes came with each stay. That must have been awesome.

Bought in Sept. of 97' while on our honeymoon at WDW and then quickly did another add on by Nov. of 97' lol. Realized quick we'd be wanting to stay in at least a 1 bdrm or larger and still come to WDW more than once a year. Not that DVC spoiled us in any way LOL (SARCASM )

currently waiting out rofr on 230 at okw and 240 bwv, if all pass disney i'll have 3 contracts, 3 resorts, 3 use years
should have done this in 96 while on 10 day trip to poly, took the tour in 96 & 99 but couldn't pull the trigger, sorry every day since, i've just spent the last month chasing down bcv resales only to miss them all, sometimes by just minutes, so i'll take the variety approach
