How long from Sanford Airport

I am considering using TransMeridian Airlines which flies into Orlando Sanford Airport on our next trip. Can anyone tell me how long it takes from the airport to Disney's Yacht Club.

If I-4 traffic through Orlando is light, then it takes about 45 minutes from Sanford to Disney. If traffic is heavy, it could take twice that. If you are arriving at a rush hour time and are renting a car, then it may make sense to take the 417 toll road around to Disney. This will take about the same time as going down I-4, but it is rarely backed up at peak times. The tolls are the only cost and I think they are $5 total or $2, $.50, $.50, $1, and $1 for the five plazas you go through heading to Disney. Here's more information on the airport:

Thanks for the info Big Tigger, and barry for asking for it. It was helpful for us too. We are using TMA out of St Louis area into Sanford in January, renting a car at SAnford, and driving to Beach Club Villas. This is our first time with TMA, so I'll try to remember to post a report when we return.

If I remember right, it's $6.00 for the entire length of 417. That being said, It is definately less crowded that I4 and well worth the money if you are travelling during the "rush hour"

We fly TMA all the time from Syracuse NY. They great. We don't rent a car anymore we just reserve a towncar thru American Executive Transportation. They are great! Their number is 1-877-248-9965..just ask for Willy. We have used them several times in the past year and have always be completely satisfied. Tell Willy....Robin gave you his number!!
