How long for reservations to show up?

Just wondering how long it takes for reservations to show up in the Disney system? I just rented points and checked the number and it wasn't in yet. Granted that was only about an hour ago the reservation was made.

You rented points from a DVC member? I am in no way an expert (I've only rented my points once, to my father), but I would imagine that a DVC confirmation number given to the booking member probably won't work on the "regular" WDW reservation tracking page.

I just logged into the member site, checked my dad's confirmation number, and entered into the WDW site. The page told me that the reservation was not found.

Someone else should chime in with a definitive answer.

I often retrieve our DVC reservations using my disneyworld.com account. I've never tried it immediately after making one so I can't say how long it takes for them to be available there.

In the mean time, go to MyDisneyReservation.com and select the 'Using a Disney Vacation Club membership' option.

I can retrieve my DVC reservations at this site. Like you, though, never tried immediately so not sure how long it will take.

I just logged on to disneyworld.com and I currently have five DVC points reservations that I have linked with my account.

Just checked it again and it showed up! I was just being impatient.

Thanks for this info. I was using a different page to try to access the reservation; it didn't have the 'Using a Disney Vacation Club membership' option.
