How long for dinner at BOG?

We have dinner adr's at 5:05pm on Sept. 2nd, we are not going to the party, so am wondering how long dinner should take. We are a family of 5 and not ordering apps or desserts. Should we be out by 6:30pm?

Here is what I found online regarding ADRs: "Disney’s Advance Dining Reservations are not reservations in the “true” sense of the word with definite seating times. They do guarantee, however, that you “will be seated” at the first available table after checking in at the podium for your reservation time. In fact, Disney recommends arriving 15 minutes prior to your ADR time. Waits generally range from a few minutes to a half hour." - http://www.themouseforless.com/walt-disney-world/dining/adr/

It also depends on how long your family takes to eat, typically the larger the party the longer it takes to bring out the dishes. For an experience like BOG which is a very hard reservation to get, it would be a shame to have to rush.. Just my two cents.

For BOG dinner, that's rarely an issue.

For B and L, BOG is booked to total capacity of all three rooms. For dinner, they book a fraction of that capacity, limited by the kitchen's ability to handle TS. So it's easier to get seated early in the night. A 5PM ADR (dinner at BOG starts at 4) should be seated close to on time.

We waited almost 90 minutes for our dinner ADR at BOG last year. Needless to say, I was quite annoyed. Then we ended up getting seated in probably the worst table in the restaurant, in a far corner right of the ballroom next to a service cart. Hopefully my experience isn't typical though. Even though it is a party night, you can still finish your meal at a normal pace. If it's after 7:00 when you leave, you'll be asked to leave the park, but you can still sneak a peak at the party activities while you're walking out.
