How long for confirmation email to arrive

Hi. Just booked this morning over the phone. Any idea how long for my confirmation email to arrive? Thx
 
Check all of the email addresses that you have on file with them. Last year I booked a bounceback offer for this Christmas and the confirmation email that I was sent to an old email address on file that isn't linked to MDE. It arrived a few hours after booking, but I never received an email regarding an adjustment to the reservation. However I can see the adjustment in the MDE app.
 

If you haven't already check your Spam mail. We have had it take anywhere from 5 minutes to several days.
 
Unfortunately, Disney is very inconsistent at sending email confirmations of important things (like a reservation confirmation). I receive them only about half the time. If I don't receive one, I call to confirm the reservation actually went through.
 
My email from them have lagged. When I applied monies from my Disney vacation account the receipt arrived that day, but hours later.
When I paid off the balance, the email didn't show up until well into the evening. Even then, it was the "You're staying at Disney thanks for booking your package" email. I didn't get an actual receipt until the next day. Similar thing when I purchased Memory Maker. The email showed up hours later. I understand all three are different services, but surely their systems are tied together at a certain point. All were very slow. Not a problem - just unusual because typically when I order or pay for something over the phone or online, the email is there before I can even log into my account.
 
My initial email came within 15-20 minutes. When I made a change, it never came but I was able to verify the booking on MDE.

If you didn't get the confirmation number when you booked ( this way you could check the MDE area ) and you haven't received it by tomorrow morning, I'd give them a call back. Better safe than sorry.
 
I've never received it right away. I would have been thrilled with 15 minutes or even the same day. I actually even tried changing my email address that I used for all my other Disney related stuff when making the reservation due to I never knew it it was comcast at the same time. I ended up calling back the next day after making a reservation. Still nothing. It took about 3 days and 2 phone calls. Finally it showed up.
 
Agree with many PP. Sometimes it is almost instantaneous, sometimes later in the evening when I've booked early in the day. Several times, I've received it the next day but never longer than that.
