how long for a refund?

we had to cancel our bounceback deal,as were going earler so carnt take it up.on average how long will it take disney to refund us our money back?

When I made a change to my reservation in order to take advantage of the 4/3 deal, it took about a month to get the money credited to my credit card. I had read on these boards that some people got their refund much quicker, but that is what it took for me to get my money.
 
I cancel a lot because I book a package and then decide to change resorts so I have to cancel one and book another.

The official policy is 7 to 10 business days and I have found that to be true. Once it was longer and I called and the CM said that it wasn't canceled correctly. She said she would "push it through" I am not sure what that means exactly but I was refunded about 2 days later.
 
When we canceled a room-only reservation to book a package we received our refund within the week.
 

I have cancelled before and the money was put back on my card within 3 days. I think it depends on the card issuer or bank.
 
I just rebooked to free Dining last week and I looked yesterday and the credit was already there. Very quick.
 
I just changed my reservations from a room only code to a package with free dining this past Sunday and am still waiting for my refund. It's only been what, 3 days, but I hope it's soon! I'm broke right now! :rotfl:
 
What if you don't have a balance on your card and you have to cancel? I really don't know if we will get to go this year, probably not, but I went ahead and booked a just in case trip. I will pay off the deposit next month and will owe 0 on the card. How would they handle this?:confused3

I found this to be true. I had the money on my Bank of America Debit. It was only a matter of a few days for my refund.
 
I changed my room-only reservation to a package on 3/28. I had both the credit card deposit which was refunded in about 5 days and a cash deposit (as i had mailed in a check). I expected the check to be refunded by now but it has not. When i called to check on the cash refund they told me 4-6 weeks!!! Yikes!! Good news is that I have till 6/21 to pay my package in full. I hope to have it before then!
