How long does Wishes last?

We will be at MK on Tues. Dec. 12. I see on the schedule that Wishes is at 6:00, the park closes at 7:00, and MVMCP is at 7:00. We are not staying for the MVMCP. So, my question is this: How long does Wishes last? Will there be time to ride a few more rides after the fireworks until 7:00? If I understand correctly, there is no evening parade, just the fireworks. Am I wrong about that? Also, are we going to have a hard time getting through the crowd to leave because of MVMCP? Should we stake out a place with a quick exit after the fireworks? If so, where would that be? We have a 1 year old that likes to go to bed early, so we will be in somewhat of a hurry to leave. Also, this may be a silly question, but will it be dark by 6 for the fireworks? Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Wishes doesn't last that long- 15 minutes maybe? We always hang out in the back by the train station and actually watch the "finale" from the bus stops
