When this thing went through all 4 of us at our house, I noticed the following:
- barfing lasts anywhere between 6 and 18 hours
- once that is done, you're still spending a lot of time on the toilet
- children seemed to be A-OK after 24 hours -- just a bit tired
- adults seemed to still feel gross and totally wiped out for at least another 2 days
- contagious ??? -- Absolutely !
I feel for you right now. My dd got it first, then 3 days later, the rest of us got it all at the same time. My poor dd (who is 6 years old) spent the evening letting us know when her little brother needed our help, taking temperatures, getting flat gingerale for us, etc. She was quite the little nurse
