How long does the boat take...

to go from Epcot's International Gateway to MGM. We want to go to the holiday mixer but we have a group of 9 who will be waiting for us at Mama Melrose's. Once we're on the boat, it has 3 stops before MGM, does the whole ride take 1/2 hour, or is it even longer?

I have never timed it but I don't even think it's 15 minutes - maybe 20 but I think 30 minutes would be the longest it would be.

I am guessing 30 minutes is about right.... gotta figure at least 5- 7 minutes to unload and load at each stop, plus cruising time.

Thanks for the replies. I've been reading the other thread, and I think DH and I can stop by the party for up to a 1/2 hour. We've not been able to go to anything sponsored by DVC yet, and it would be nice to see what extra things they do for members. One of these years I won't be teaching and I'll be able to get to one of the annual report meetings.
