How long does Randy take to respond?

I emailed Randy Chapman about a week ago but haven't heard back from him. I have plenty of time (I told him my date is 9/1/2009) but I would like to meet him when I go down this September. I've heard back from STVS, Starfruit, Misty, and also from Rev Kevin. Like I said, I'm in no real rush, But how long does he usually take?

Hi, Randy came back to me within several days but it wasn't an immediate response. I'd email him again and just check he's got the info.

I had a similar thing with Rev Miller. I sent the details through on his website and heard nothing. I emailed him direct and he said he hadn't been in touch as our wedding date was so far ahead. Wouldn't have hurt him to let me know though!

I know he had several December weddings and he is frantically trying to get all their photos out to them and posted on the website, so I imagine he is swamped. I was told way back in my planning that it was easiest to catch Linda on Friday mornings in the studio. So you might try calling then. You won't regret using Randy. He is awesome !

Does anyone that used Randy have pictures or have you seen completed books. I love his pictures and really want to use him but I also would love to see what completed books look like - like what he does with the pictures after you choose the ones you want in your book.

He tends to be a little bit slow with the email responses. Sometimes it would take a week and sometimes a couple of days. But then I just started calling and he gets back to you much faster that way.

I'm not too worried - I have time so that's why I'm starting early for these reasons with peopletaking time replying. I kinda feel like it was too early to call but Randy is my top choice for Photography. All the other vendors got back to me right away and comparing him to them it sucks when your top choice doesn't respond right away. But I've heard such rave reviews and love his work so I'm not writing him off yet!

I'll email him again and then maybe when I'm off work next week I'll call.

He asked where we heard about him, and I said, "Are you kidding me?! You're all over the Disney boards!" and he was like LOL! He said he really didn't know and he should try to figure out the message boards sometime. He was surprised that I had already seen a lot of the pictures in his portfolio on DIS.

I prefer it when people are quick by e-mail but I also understand that there's a lot of people who are still not "with it" yet

We got married on January 3rd of this year and he was the same way with us. He is just flabbergasted that people online talk about him. He wanted to know what they said, did they like him, etc.. Yeah, Maggie! That's was a good majority of the pictures in his portfolio so I said, "Oh, that's Maggie!! I've seen those!" And he was totally flabbergasted! He's all, HOW THE-?!
