How long does package delivery to hotel take?

Hi. I have a simple and easy question for our August trip. If we were to go shopping in Downtown Disney on Aug. 24 and we are leaving WDW on Aug. 26, is that enough time to have our DTD purchases delivered to our All-Star Movies hotel? How long does it take for your purchases to arrive at your hotel for you to be able to pick them up? We are trying to figure out a date to go shopping in DTD, and want to take advantage of the hotel delivery.

I believe DTD has next day hotel delivery, so you should be okay. The parks work a little differently:

If bought before 7PM - after 1pm the next day
If bought after 7pm - after 1pm on the 2nd day

You are (usually) able to pick your packages up the following morning. So if you went shopping on the 24th, your packages should be available on the 25th.

When we went in March, we did have a package that was delayed. It took an extra day to get to our resort. We still had a few days left of our trip, so no biggie.

Whenever you fill out the resort delivery slip, you enter your home address and phone number, so I would guess if you missed the package, they would call you or mail it?

They always ask me if we're checking out the next day, so I would imagine you can't send anything to the hotel if you're leaving the next day.

I don't know about DTD but the parks also have package pickup so you can pick up your packages on your way out of the park. You don't have to carry them around all day and you don't have to wait for them either.

Ours usually get to the hotel by mid day the next day.

We stayed at ASMo last year and had all kinds of pkgs sent back. They were all there by the next day. I usually picked mine up on the way to my room from our day at the parks.
