how long does Ohana dinner take?

we would like to see the floating electrical pageant on the beach of the poly at 9, after a dinner at Ohana. Currently we have 7:30 ressies, but I am not sure if an hour will be enough time. How long after ADR time were you seated? how long did dinner take (at a reasonable pace, not rushing through or lingering)? how far is the beach from the resturant? will 7:30 dinner be early enough to make it? thanks!!

We just ate there with our 2 kids 5 days ago, I would say it takes about 1 1/2 hours. We had priority seating and were seated in about 10 min from check in. The place is busy so the waiters have to attend to several tables and it can take a little while for refills and your check.We loved this place the food was excellent and I am not a fan of bread pudding but Holy cow this stuff was AMAZING!!! we ordered 2 rounds of it because we inhaled the first one and didn't taste it. It's very fun for children with all the fun races and little pararde around the tables. ENJOY!!!

We generally wait 10 minutes from the time we check in until we are seated. On average the meal takes around 60-75 minutes for our trips. The extremes have been 50 minutes and 2 hours. The 2 hour one was for a big party where everyone was more interested in talking than eating though.

The beach isn't that far away, no more than a 5 minute walk. On an average night 7:30 should be fine. You can always check in a little earlier to help move the time up a little as well.
