How long does it take?

for a payment to show up on my online confirmation? I made a credit card payment online for my August trip on Monday and it didn't show up yesterday so I went in and did it again and still nothing. Does it take days for a payment to show up?
 
When I make payments, it usually takes a day or two before it shows up. A tip that works for me is to go in as if making another payment and it will show the new balance due (assuming your payment went through). You will have to go all the way to where you enter the payment info. Just cancel out before making an actual payment. Hope that makes sense!
 
Thanks for the tip, but still nothing. And this has been since Monday! I hate to call and wait forever on the phone but you think they'd have a better computer payment system. I don't want to try again and have a duplicate payment either.
 
I would check to see if the charge went through on your credit card. If so, I would give Disney a week or so to post the payment to your account. If it's still not there, then I would give them a call.
 

Depending on the company it is usually somewhere in all that fine print that a payment can take up to "x" number of days to show up through internet banking. I know with some of my bills it is a week or more.
I would call just to be on the safe side:)

this happened to me today! And I did the same thing you did and it showed my new balance to be minus what I paid earlier.

Now, about a month ago, I made a payment....nothing. waited 4 days, called Disney Visa, well, it never went through. So I did it again. Same thing. ( seriously Disney ?? :confused3 ) There's something weird and hit or miss about their online payment.

But after I made the payment today, I got an email which was basically just "thanks for booking your trip". That's it. no mention of money...not the same email that I previously got when it went through successfully.

I agree though w/ everyone else. Wait a day or 2 and call your credit card and see if it's in memo or posted yet. And keep logging in on Disney.com to my disney vacation to see if it also posted your payment there. Ours showed up later this afternoon. ( STILL no confirmation email though! :lmao:)
 
The exact same thing just happened to me as PP - I made my final payment and received a thank you for booking your trip email. When I went in to the screen to "make another payment" to see what it showed there was no balance due - nowhere to even select how much I wanted to pay - so I am assuming it went through but will keep an eye on my account and my bank account to see if it really did go through...good luck and hope yours went through as well
 
I tried twice and waited over a week each time using my Disney Visa no less but nothing ever showed up. So I tried my Discover card and that worked within an hour, so go figure!
 
My payment showed up online on my reservation a few hours later and I received an email the next morning...so we're all set!
