How long does it take you when you have appointments?

When I get my hair cut or whatever, I'm there anywhere from 2-5 hours (I have been there for almost 7 hours when I've had perms:rolleyes:, I'm mostly just waiting for them to get to me). When I go to the dentist, I'm there for anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours. Just for a simple cleaning. When I go to the dr, I'm there for as little as 20 minutes (which is very unusual), up to 4 hours.

I have to go to the dr today and I hope they keep me entertained so I don't fall asleep waiting on them.;)

Does anyone else have to wait forever when you have appointments?

wow..if anyone made me wait mote than 30-60 minutes I'd be looking for a new place to go...no matter what the business..

Wow, that's a lot of waiting. I hope you always have a good book to read when you go for any appt. I'm usually done at the hairdresser in 15-30 minutes. The dentist is usually 45-60 minutes (I go during my lunch hour). Unless a doctor has needed to squeeze DD or me in because of illness I'm usually out of there in less than an hour. I once waited 2 1/2 hrs at my OB/GYN. I switched doctors (didn't particularly like him to begin with and making me wait didn't win him points).

The longest I've have to wait is when service people come to the house but then I'm home so it's not too bad.

 Hi Shannon! You are waiting waaaaay too long! My Doctors is probably the longest wait (15 mins before I get an exam room & then another 15 mins there ~ tops). My hairdresser ~ zero wait (but I always have an appt.) My Dentist, not more than 10 mins.

If it's the doctor, I would suggest trying to get the 1st appt right after lunch....usually no waiting then.

It is very annoying to wait. When my Mom had her oncologist appts, it would be a minimum of 1 hour wait time & that used to really upset me because all those people sitting there had their days numbered & they should have been out enjoying the rest of their lives, rather than sitting in that dark dingy office! I feel that is so rude.

Good luck!

My longest wait is usually at the hairdresser. I get highlights and a trim each time I go so there is a lag time between the highlighting and the trimming. I find that wait varies from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours!!! It can be fairly time consuming but she's the best hairdresser I've ever had and wouldn't consider going anywhere else!

10-15 min for all, good luck at the Doctor

So please tell us how the dr is rude... because he tries to help as many patients as possible, or because he didn't push the patients before you out the door before helping them completely?

The people at my clinic who complain about waiting are strangely the ones who want to spend their 15-minute appointment asking an hour worth of questions. But do you really think I spend that much time answering them? ha

Waiting for anything is killer. I hate to wait and when there is nothing to do while you wait it's even worse.

no, I'm sure you don't.
