How long does it take to merge reservations?

I know I can request a merge through Chat. I have an upcoming trip booked but still not sure I can take it, it's currently in 3 reservations because of various waitlists coming through. All 5 nights are now at one resort, which is awesome. I'm in the 30 day cancellation period though so either I cancel and have points sit in holding, or I can try to rent out part/all of the ressies. For that reason I'm thinking of keeping it un-merged as long as possible, but does it take any significant time to merge reservations?

It used to be instant while they were on chat/phone with you. However, last time I did it — it took about a week.

Same here. I just merged a reservation a couple weeks ago, and it took about a week. I was surprised since I also remember the days when it could be done "while you wait" during a chat.

Last year we did it, and it took about 4-5 days. Should definitely allow a week for it to be completed.

I have had a few in the past month be done in 24 to 48 hours, though they say to give them 7 - 10 days. Worst case, though, if you don't have them merged ahead of time, and are going, be sure that they note it on the trips so the room assigner gets that info...and check in when you arrive.

I requested a merge on Monday and was told 10 calendar days.

Combine 3 BWV into one took 13 days. This was all done through chat.
