We will be staying in a cabin and have free dining. We have our table service credits all booked up so I'm thinking Trails End is not an option for us. That is table service only right? There is no quick service/counter service breakfast place in FW is there? So, we were thinking of one morning going over to WL and eating at Roaring Fork for breakfast because that is a quick service/counter service eatery, right? So, I'm curious how long it will take to get there. Its by boat right? And there is a path too right? Thanks!

And, if anyone knows, how early/late do the ferries run? We might try an early 7am breakfast at WL one day and we know we'll need a late ride back on Halloween Night from MNSSHP at midnight or thereabouts.

Just got back from staying in a cabin last week. Its a really quick trip from the marina to WL ! We enjoyed eating there much more than at Trails End. Plus the hours Trails End held were a bit odd and everytime we went down to eat it was during their closed hours.

We mainly just utilized the Roaring Forks but it hit the spot.

It took only about 5 minutes to get there and get docked. Take the boat on the left , the green flag ( I think) . It makes a stop at WL then heads on to MK. There are also some direct MK boats so be sure to check first.

If you get the 2500 loop you will be lucky. We had Ana as our housekeeper and she was great! TONS of towel animals and she kept everything very very clean.

Have fun!

Oh missed this one. They start about a hour before the parks open and run til a hour after closing. They unlike the monorals will stay open for the special events ( monorails stop one hour after regular closing now) . We took the boat back from EMH and MNSSHP no problems.

Thanks! Can you drive from your cabin to the marina or do you need to ride a bus there? You see we'd like to make EMH at HS by 8am...hahahahah :lmao: I know. :rotfl2: And we will be driving there from FW, so trying to figure out how to eat a quick service breakfast beforehand, if possible. May just have to grab a bite in the park if its not doable.

You cant use your car to drive within the resort. There is no parking for cars near the marina. The rule is the car is only for driving to your cabin and of course for driving directly to the parks themselves , or whereever else offsite you may need to go.

You can rent a golf cart at Disney or with a offsite vendor for either certain days or the lenth of your stay. I believe its around 61.00 ish a day if you rent a cart from Disney. You can get a cart delivered from offsite for a huge savings . ( I will post the info if you like) You can use a golf cart to get anywhere within the resort you like. We used to to get to the marina , parked it ( they have golf cart parking) and came back as late as 2 am , hopped in our cart and went back to the cabin. This is the easiest but not cheapest route. TONS of fun though if you can do it.

If you cant get a cart then yes you can take the internal bus system. It will add a bit of time to your plans ( not much) . I didnt really use the internal bus so I cant comment on how it works much. Maybe someone else here can help?

If you want to be at HS by 8 am and are driving I wouldnt leave any later than 7:30 am ( a tad sooner is better, like 7:15 ish maybe) . I dont think quick service is open til 8 am if I am correct? ( someone correct me if I am wrong)You will be in a cabin though you can maybe stock up some quick breakfast foods or grab a quick service in the park like you mentioned.

Good luck with the early EMH. We have always done at least a few of those but once we got to the fort we were so relaxed that we ended up sleeping in and hanging out there till lunchtime. lol Thankfully it was September and there were no crowds or we would have been done for! Have fun and take lots of pics for us !

Thanks for the tips! I think EMH morning we will just eat something light in the room so that we get there on time! :) We will boat over to WL and do Roaring Fork another morning when we don't have anywhere to be. Thanks again!
