How long does it take to get to lunch at Poly or GF from MK

I'm sure some of you have taken a break from MK to go to lunch in either Kona at the Poly or Grand Cafe (?) at the GF. How long would you say the trip takes via monorail?

The hotels are supposed to be so pretty in December (especially GF) I thought it might make a nice break to have lunch in one of them and check out the decorations/Gingerbread House in the Grand Floridian,-I'm sure Poly has decorations-I just haven't read about them.

I have no idea how long it would take to make such a trip?

Not long at all. Hop on the monorail and you're there in a couple minutes.

Um, ourlaughingplace.com has it at seventeen minutes - and that assumes the monorail will be right at the MK station when you get up to the platform, depart immediately and not be delayed anywhere en route. The ferry takes thirteen minutes (same source, boat at dock and takes off as soon as you board).
