How long does it take to get the documents from Disney to close?

Our guide called us last week and said "WE'RE IN" - We're just waiting for all the paperwork to sign. We need to get it all by 2/28 so we can bank 1/2 years points. We were told we have a June year end. I can't believe we got into OKW - one of the last it seems since we were on a waiting list.

I made a deposit on Oct 9. Received paperwork by FED Ex on Oct 13th. Returned it by Fedex Oct 16. Paid final amount Oct 22. REceived notice that deed was recorded Nov 8th. I had no loan to process so that may have made things go quickly.
Received actual deed on Jan 9, 2001. I believe you should be able to work out something with your guide as far as banking goes. You shouldn't have to worry about the deadlines when you are in the process of purchasing. You should also be able to make reservations before official closing by asking your guide.I received paperwork with my contract papers asking if I wanted to bank points right away. Hope this helps.
