How long does it take to get from Tomorrowland to Goofy's?

On the morning we have PS for Goofy's, we're going to start out in Tomorrowland. So we'll hop the monorail to DTD. However, I have no idea how long it takes to ride the monorail and walk to Goofy's. Can someone give me a ballpark? Thanks!

The monorail ride isn't long, about 5 minutes or so. What takes a while is getting on the monorail. What time is your PS?

Our PS is 11am. We're planning to arrive at DL at 7:30 to be ready for the rope drop, and then head straight to Tomorrowland. I'm thinking dh can run ahead and grab a SM Fastpass and meet us back at Astro Orbiter. Then Star Tours, Autopia, and Buzz. Not sure what to do after that, partially because I don't know yet what time we should start heading over to Goofy's. We will grab another FP on our way to the monorail, but not sure if it should be SM, Buzz, or Autopia. I'm wondering if we should hit Innoventions between the rides and the breakfast because dh and especially fil will really enjoy that. Any other suggestions along with how long it will take to walk to Goofy's?

From the monorail station in DTD to Goofy's Kitchen is a 5-minute walk max. The previous poster is correct - it's about 5 minutes on the monorail once you board in Tomorrowland to DTD. But if you're in Tomorrowland and find that the monorail isn't running, then you need to plan on a 20-minute walk from Tomorrowland to Goofy's Kitchen (we were at DL this week and one morning timed the walk from the DLHotel to the entrance to DL was 13 minutes at a leisurely stroll).

That's better than I thought I was thinking we would leave Tomorrowland about 10:20. Maybe we'll still leave that early. That will give us time to check out the monorail to make sure it's running, board, ride, walk through DTD, and find Goofy's. We'll be early, but that's OK. I'm a little nervous the characters will be leaving soon after we get there anyway, so it will just give us more opportunity to see them. Then, if the monorail is not running, we will have plenty of time to walk too. WDYT?

I think you should leave by 10:30, that way if there is a wait to board in TL you can decide if you want to wait or just walk. If I had a GK PS at 11 am I'd plan on being at the monorail at 10:30, if DH wants to grab FP and you guys want to get in the tram line he can always catch up or just meet you at the restaurant. With your group I'd give 10 min. to get from the monorail station in DTD to GK but that's being generous and figuring you'll have at least 1 stroller. It would be about 20-30 min. to walk thru DTD to GK from TL. I hope that helps!

FWIW unless it's crazy nutty wildly busy, the FP for Autopia doesn't shave *that* much time off your wait.
