How long does it take to get from MGM to the Contemporary?

We are thinking of going to Chef Mickey's during our September weekend trip. The only option is for us to try and eat there on the day we go to MGM. We'd like to come back to see Fantasmic, but are unsure how long it would take to travel to and from the Contemporary. Our default option is to eat at Hollywood and Vine.

Anyone have a clue?

Since you'll have to take the bus, your wait will be the amount of time it takes for a bus to arrive at MGM and then take you to the Contemporary. Figure anywhere from 15-35 plus 5 minutes or so to get up to the main concourse for dinner.

Are you driving or taking the bus. If you are driving, it can be as little as 10 minutes, depending of traffic and whether there are lines going through the toll plaza at MK.

If you are taking the bus, factor in that the busses run about every 20-30 minutes and the ride, itself will take about 10 minutes. So at the most, about 35-40 minutes and the least, about 10

According to my PassPorter book the bus ride is about 20 minutes from the Contemporary to MGM.
