I am trying to do both TL and BB in one day. Is this being realistic? I will be using Disney transportation to get to both parks.

I would think you could do it... but myself.. I would rather just go to one and relax and the resort when I return..... I will tell you... all this park hopping and bus transportation.. eats up all your time on vacation... We have decided our next vacation we won't park hop... just b/c it takes up so so much time to get to one park to another then enter the park get checked (our bags) get lockers if we need too.. rent another stroller.... by now we have losted atleast 45 min to an hour... it just depends on catching the bus at the right time...:goodvibes

I also wouldn't recommend it. There's no bus transportation between the two, so unless you have a car it will take quite a while to get from one to the other, as you would have to go to a resort or TTC to make a connection.

They are both great parks though, I just wouldn't do both the same day.:goodvibes

It is possible, but tiring! Last August we hit both, with a round of mini golf in between! We started the day with EMH at Blizzard Beach because Summit Plummet was a must for me and my boyfriend. We were at Blizzard Beach from 8 to 11, then played a round of mini golf at Winter-Summerland. Then we went back to our resort, grabbed a quick lunch and headed to Typhoon Lagoon. It took a while because the bus service from our resort, POFQ, to TL took almost 2 hours! :scared1: Once we got to TL around 2 p.m. we were able to spend some time in the wave pool, hit some slides, go on the Crush n' Gusher and do the shark reef a couple times!! We left back to our resort around 4:30, simply because we were soo tired from being out in the sun and swimming and waiting in line and stuff. It was fun, but tiring. And we definitely didn't get to see all of the waterparks or truly enjoy them to their fullest (we didn't get to go on all the attractions at either).

This year we are doing them one at a time! Enjoy!

I imagine that you could probably do both in one day but in my mind it's not worth it. I mean the point of going to these places is to enjoy them not just "DO" them. It sounds as though you have a list of things and you are crossing them off as you do them. I would much rather pick one waterpark, spend the day there and then use the other waterpark as an excuse to go back ASAP!!:lmao:

Hi!
To answer your question, it really just depends how long you want to spend at each waterpark. There are alot of fun things to do at each waterpark, but sometimes the lines can be a little long. I'm not going to tell you what you have to do, but this is a suggestion: I suggest that you only do 1 waterpark that day. The reason for this is because I think that you would be rushed doing 2 waterparks in 1 day. It's not up to me, but again it's just a suggestion.

Have Fun!!

I definitely would not reccomend it. Both water parks are great and we usually spend about 5 hours at the water parks, so I don't think trying to see both in one day is a good plan.

The water parks are meant to be enjoyed and not look at the watch to see how you are doing with time.

If you can only do one, I would suggest TL because of the wave pool and swimming in shark's reef.

We spent nearly all day at Blizzard Beach and did not get to do everything. We were travelling with kids though.

Thank you for all of your responses. I am getting a general consensus that I should just have fun at one of them one day and then go to the other another day. This gives me a good excuse to add another day to our vacation. We will see how this goes.

As stated above, it would be very tiring, but I do think it's possible. Transportation could be tricky, but if it's just the two of you, and you don't plan to dawdle, I think you could do it. DH and I went to both, but not in the same day, and we stayed at each for afew hours. We didn't want to just hang around. We did what we wanted, sat around for a bit, and then were ready to go. We would rather relax at our hotel where it's quieter and more relaxing. Good luck! You'll LOVE it for your honeymoon! DH and I had a blast and it was his first trip!

Also, when my wife, daughter and myself go in August, we stay for 11 days, so we are able to do both water parks. However, we stay anywhere from 5 to 6 hours at the water parks and have never been able to do everything.

The lazy river alone is an hour or two if you are extra lazy. The tropical atmosphere at TL is so relaxing, I would hate to be rushed. Also BB is really nicely themed and is worth a visit. If you can do both.

The Water Parks are such a refreshing break from beating the pavement, the lines and the heat that I don't rush through them. Frankly I ask myself how could I stay at TL all day (10am-4pm) but we do and we enjoy it. The kids and I spend hours between the wave pool and the lazy river and fit the slides and the rafts in between. You can do both TL & BB just like you can do multiple parks, depends on your stamina and what you want your experience to be. Good Luck!
