How long does it take Dreams Unlimited to quote you?

I am just wondering how long it takes them to get back to you? I put in a request yesterday and today and haven't heard anything except the initial email. I want to book our Dec 04 cruise right away and I have three quotes from other places but would like to see how they compare....

You should be hearing from them any time now - You could always put in another request and let them know you want to book ASAP

You may want to try allseastravel.com for a price. They will be less and are very good. Many posts on these boards about them and nothing but good to say. We booked our cruise through them and were happy.

I had submitted a request in the early morning and still no response from them later on that afternoon. I did exactly what your doing now (posting now come no response) and within a few hours they responded to me. I don't know if that was coinsidence or not but it sure helped.

I just wanted to add that I did quote all seas and DU was $100 cheaper! So I went with DU

I didn't get an email back but the TA who quoted for us asked in chat if I had received it. I still haven't gotten any emails from them but I was able to go to their site under client services & enter the reservation number & password that I had gotten when I submitted the request. The information was there for me. HTH!

I wrote them on Saturday to check if it would be cheaper to have them take over my present reservation - haven't heard yet. They must be very busy over there!!!

The last time we cruised, CathyCanada got our quote to us before noon - changes were made and by late afternoon the deposit was put down - course, I have no idea who's running the store now... Did you send a follow-up - not another quote request, but an email?

Hi All

It usually takes Dreams Unlimited anywhere from a few hours to 24 to get a quote processed. On the rare occassion it can take up to 48 hours but this is most likely due to unforeseen circumstances. In general, you should not be waiting more than 24 hours for a quote.

I apologize if anyone is waiting longer than usual. As you might imagine the Shipboard Credit promotions are generally very popular and we have had a great many requests for quotes this week. On top of that, Disney's systems have been running slow or been down for short periods the past week.

In any event, I am sorry if the quotes are coming back slower than usual. If you are waiting more than 24 hours for a quote, or you just can't wait any longer, please write to me direclty at john@dreamsunlimitedtravel.com and I would be happy to look into it for you.
