last? I cannot find anything giving time lengths and was thinking about planning the water parade for after supper. The water parade does go past the resort correct?

The shows are an hour and 45 minutes so

5pm-6:45pm
7:15-9pm
9:30-11:15

The water pagent does go by Fort Wilderness and you can watch it from the beach, which is just off to the left of Pioneer Hall. Here is the schedule for that.

The Electrical Water Pageant appears near the following resorts at these times:
Disney's Polynesian Resort -- 9:00pm
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa -- 9:15pm
Disney's Wilderness Lodge -- 9:35pm
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground -- 9:45pm
Disney's Contemporary Resort -- 10:05pm
Magic Kingdom park -- 10:20pm (only during extended Magic Kingdom Park hours)

Since you did not mention which showing of Hoop you were going to, if it is the 7:15 show you will be out at 9pm and have about 45 minutes until the water pageant.

Last summer we watched it after the middle show-7 something show. We had plenty of time to walk down to the water after the show and we took our time leaving the show (you know let the mad rush out). It was a very nice evening.
