Cooking How long does fudge keep?

Can I make fudge tomorrow and will it be fine until Christmas? Also, how do you store your fudge - in the refrigerator or out?

In my house you could make it tomorrow but it would never make it till Christmas. We would eat it.
It will last keep it cover and in the frig.
I like to eat it at room temp.

I portioned mine up and froze it - otherwise we'd have eaten it I usually have a small box out so the kids think that's all there is and go easy on it - if they saw the whole boiling they'd eat themselves sick Otherwise I put it in the garage as that's as cold as a fridge.
