How long does an interactive wand last?

We purchased an interactive wand back in Feb 2015, we are planning to go to Universal again in Apr 2016. Would the wand still work?

I'd be interested to know that, also. We are planning a trip in March and I was considering buying a used one on Ebay. Did you enjoy using yours in the park? I've heard it is hard are crowded days.

My daughter loved it. She's only 6, so not actually a huge fan of the park or of Harry Potter. The only way I'm getting her to go back to Universal is that she will get to use her wand. I'm not sure how much the wand is on eBay, but the Ollivander's experience was half of the charm IMO, something you may consider.

DD bought hers October 2014 and used it again October 2015 no problem.

We found evenings in hour before closing a good time for spells without lines.

We bought one in Feb 2015 and used it in Jan 2016 with no problems. However, on the first day of the Jan 2016 trip we didn't bring it and I asked in the wand shop if it would still work...they said it should and if not to bring it in for "magical wand repair"....luckily it worked fine...

Since the wands use magic (rather than batteries and other muggle technologies) they will work on multiple trips so long as you do not damage the tips. If you drop the wand and scratch the tip (happens a lot with young kids) you can take it to Ollivanders to get repaired
