How long does a typical Teppan Edo dinner take to complete?

have an upcoming 7pm reservation for the first time. My concern is how long the dinner will take relative to being able to watch Illuminations - usually we camp out on the IG bridge about 1 hr before the firework show and I wonder if that is realistic now.

If the restaurant isn't running behind you should be fine. I don't think it will take more than an hour for dinner. We usually have an early dinner reservation and have not waited very long to be seated.

Around 1:20h start to finish, that was our experience back in 2014.

An hour to 1:15 is reasonable, they move you through pretty quickly. As another poster pointed out though, they could be running late at 7pm, so if you really want to be out by 8pm I would try getting an earlier time. That will give you a buffer, plus earlier times are more likely to be on-time.
