How long do you wait to hear from your TA?

I'm just curious how long you usually have to wait before you hear from your TA if you have a question? I'm wondering what the "norm" is. I'm ready to start booking, had some questions, and e-mailed the TA on Wed and still haven't heard anything. This will be the first time to Disney and the first time using a TA.
 
Good question, and thanks for reminding me - I've been waiting four months for a call back!
Seriously, unless your TA is away, I'd say two days is MORE than reasonable.
 
I would say email one more time just in case your message to the TA or his/her message to you got lost in cyber space or caught in a spam filter. If you don't hear back after that message, then move on and find somewhere else. Life happens so I'd give one more chance but if you still don't get a response then it's obviously time to find someone who can take care of it for you.
 
I would expect my TA to answer back fairly soon. I went through CAA and my TA there emailed or phoned me back the same day. We have another TA that we have used for other travels and again she has called us in a day or two. If they want your business I think they would be fairly prompt.
 

Have you checked the Spam/Junk folder for your email?

If your TA is away, they should have said something like "I'll be on holiday and so and so will be covering for me" beforehand or they should have put an auto-response saying "I am away from the office, I will return on..." when people email.

If this is not the case and you haven't booked yet... I'd find someone who can answer your questions in less than 4 days, but then again, I'm impatient and if more than 24 hours goes by I start to wonder!
 
Did they give you a phone number where your TA can be reached?

If not then definitely check as it could get lost in cyber space. I actually had the opposite happen to me. My TA sent me an email and I never received it. It was a simple question and nothing really of any major importance but after 3 days that she didn't hear back from me, she called me to make sure that I had received the email but I never did
 
I booked a DCL cruise through DU recently and they have been very prompt on answering my e-mails. I admit I was very nervous in using a TA, since I'm a control freak. But so many people on these boards have had great experiences, so I thought I'd give it a try. So far, so good. :flower:
 
We use Small World Vacations and my TA gets back to me within a day or two depending on the nature of the guestion either by phone or email. If she isn't in her email sends back an automatic reply ...and if she knows she will be out ... she sends an email on her own. It is great! I would send another email as it is true sometimes cyberspace can eat up those messages but I wouldn't wait tons longer to get answers.
 
I had a reply when I checked my e-mail this morning. I guess I just start to get nervous if I don't hear anything w/in 48 hours! :flower:
